Super Detective - May 1935

Bedsheet sized early issue of this rare Trojan pulp, printed on higher grade paper than the usual pulp. Features a H.J. Ward cover, Parkhurst interior illustrations and comic strip with stories by Margie Harris, Emile C. Tepperman and prolific pulpster Richard B. Sale. Great package, but didn't succeed and would stop publication after 2 more issues. The title was revived in the 1940s as a hero pulp featuring Jim Anthony - scientist, businessman and adventurer.
